Would I Lose Friends Over This?


Alright, I am up in my 20s, and have had social anxiety a huge part of my life, and never had friends until around late 2011. Late 2011, I began attending a new church and met a very nice couple in their early 40s that were the only ones in the church that would give me the time of day and be nice to me. The rest of the people more or less ignored me as it wasnt a healthy church, which was comprised of cliques, etc. In May of the last year, the really nice couple went to another church but called me that they would still be my friend. I left the church shortly after as well and found a new one which I enjoy. For the past 2 christmas’s Ive given them cards and gift cards, and gifts too on their birthday, and brought them meals once when they were sick. So in spite of my social anxiety, I feel I have been a decent friend. They invited me over to dinner last Fall, and I went and had a great time, and wrote them a thank you card. Recently, they have invited me over for dinner twice again. A few weeks ago I had to cancel because I had to go to a family affair, and they said that was ok and they understood and how they would work it around my schedule. Then the last two weeks have been stressful because we suspected my dad might have a lump that was malignant, but yesterday found out it was benign thankfully. I canceled last Saturday, and left them a message and emailed them that I was sorry but I just didnt think I would be very good company because I was worried sick about my dad. They never called me yet in regards to the message. Remember all the nice things I have done for them (meals, gifts on their birthday, cards and giftcards the last 2 Christmas’s, put a relative of theirs on several prayer chains when he was sick, etc)….because I was going through duress about my dad and canceling, and not getting to speak to them since it was on an answering machine and sending an email. Do you think that now they will be done with me? Am I an awful friend?

What Can I Eat For Lunch To Lose Weight?


I’m trying to shed a few pounds and slim my love handles, which involves cutting out sugar and ‘starchy’ carbs.
When I go to sixth form, I buy my lunch from Tesco’s because the canteen food is awful and I don’t like bringing food with me because I have very little room in my bag+ I always lose/spill it.
So I’m not sure what I can buy at Tesco’s which would be good for weight loss? I can’t eat sandwiches because most of them are made with white bread and the ones that are made with wholemeal bread contain meat which I don’t eat cause I’m a vegetarian.
I was thinking about foods such as fruit and yoghurt but I’m concerned with these foods because they are high in sugar and I’m trying to slim my love handles, help!?

How Long Should It Take Me To Lose 2 Stone?


Hi I weigh 105kg I am 16 stone i am 5.6 foot tall I want to lose weight I want to know how long it would take someone of my weight to lose that amount. I have been eating less then I used to and I have started to do exersice and walk more. I wanna lose a stone before christmas and 2 stone by my birthday in february. Any Way To Lose 10-12kg In About 5 Months?


I am a teenager and I live at home, so I have no choice of what I can eat. I have been doing sit-ups/crunches, star jumps and squats every morning, increasing with 5 every day, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. I play a lot of sport (netball, hockey, squash, basketball) but still can not lose weight, but instead put it on!
I have trouble controlling what I eat at home because my mum doesn’t buy anything healthy, which is really annoying and I and up binge eating, which I know is bad for me..
I am about 175cm tall and am hoping to lose at least 10 kgs by christmas. Any ideas on how I can achieve this?! Any help at all?

How Can I Lose My Belly?


I’m a teenager, so… I eat a lot of candy and stuff, especially on birthdays (Cake), halloween, and christmas. I have a muffin top that i have been trying to get rid of for months now… I’m only drinking water (And every so often Dr. Pepper for constipation, because i have IBS) and sometimes tea.
I try to eat healthily, but always seem to grab those chips, or some ice cream. I’ve tried exercising For five weeks straight, Not only sit-ups. Push-Ups and a lot of other exercises including walking.
Please help? I can’t buy anything because i don’t have much money…

Wanna Ride To Work To Lose Weight And Increase Fitness. Will It Work?


I go back to work tomorrow and would like to make it my goal to ride to work every day. I’ve fallen off the wagon with my gym work long before christmas, only going for an hour every couple of weeks if i can be bothered. As a result I’ve put on about 10 kilos all eat as far is i can tell and i’d like to lose it.
I figure riding a bike to work daily is the best way to get cardio without going too far out of my way.
I’m 23, male, 6 foot, weight about 87 kilo.
The ride is 5 kilometres each way and i was able to do it in about 20 minutes without too much struggle.
Will this work to get me back into a reasonable level of shape?
